How to Use This Tool

Purpose

The Truth Detector helps uncover the honest emotional truth underneath a joke idea, complaint, story, or observation so the material has stronger roots.

When To Use It

• When a premise feels clever but thin.
• When a complaint needs a more relatable emotional core.
• When you want to turn frustration, embarrassment, fear, pride, jealousy, or old-school thinking into joke material.

How To Use It

1. Enter a premise, observation, complaint, or story idea.
2. Choose a comedy direction.
3. Click Detect Truth.
4. Review the hidden truth, comedy angle, setup, punchline direction, and tag idea.
5. Use the strongest truth as the foundation for jokes, callbacks, or a longer bit.
