How to Use This Tool

Purpose

The Comedy Command Center helps comedians organize bits, premises, callbacks, setlists, stage notes, crowd reactions, tags, and works-in-progress in one place.

When To Use It

Use this tool when you want to track comedy projects, prepare setlists, save rewrite notes, mark crowd reactions, or keep stage-ready material separate from rough ideas.

How To Use It

  1. Create a project title for each bit, story, premise, callback, or setlist idea.
  2. Choose a category and status so the material is easier to sort later.
  3. Add crowd reaction after testing the material live.
  4. Assign the project to a setlist when it is ready for a show.
  5. Add estimated time, tags, writing notes, and stage notes.
  6. Use filters, search, stars, statistics, and print options to manage your material.

Example Output

The project appears as a saved card that can be searched, filtered, updated, starred, assigned to a setlist, and included in a printed running order.

Comedy Tip

After every live show, update the crowd reaction and stage notes while the memory is fresh. A joke that gets a laugh once is interesting. A joke that keeps getting laughs deserves a saddle.

Storage Note

Your projects are saved locally in this browser. Clearing browser data may erase saved material, so back up important notes regularly.

Welcome to the Comedy Command Center Beta Test. This tool was designed to help comedians organize, track, develop, and manage stand-up comedy material.

Quick Start

  1. Create a new project.
  2. Add category, status, reactions, tags, and estimated time.
  3. Add material to a setlist.
  4. Arrange running order using the Up and Down buttons.
  5. Print your setlist and running order.
  6. Track estimated performance time.
